They are suitable for any location or climate. In addition to a standard range, Michael Grace offers a unique design and construction service, and can replicate designs which clients may have located in books, magazines or on websites. Treated premium pine. All screw fixings are stainless steel. Marine grade adhesives. Timber likely to be in contact with the ground is H4 (ground treated). All other timber is H3 treated.
Other specialist timbers can be used when requested. Macrocarpa, mahogany and other exotic timbers can be used, depending on suitability and availability.
All surfaces are carefully prepared and finished with 2 to 3 coats of satin finish acrylic stain (Resene Lumbersider). All timber is painted four sides before assembly.
Planter Boxes can be made in any colour on the Resene colour chart. There is no additional cost for colour choice. Visit www.resene.co.nz.
Planter Box options
Planter Boxes can be designed to exactly meet your requirements. They tend to range is sixe from being based on a 250mm cube, up to an 800mm cube (mainly for the large Versaille style Planter Boxes).
As a rule, for most domestic purposes a design based on a 400mm to 500mm cube are the most popular and practical. The Versaille Planter Boxes are larger due to their design and complexity. Usually a 600mm to 800mm cube.
Sides are most frequently plain, tongue & groove or hand-laid lattice. However, other patterns can be developed to match the environment where the Planter Boxes will sit, using other patterns, colour contrast, or both.
Will be confirmed upon receipt of order, but allow up to 6 weeks.
Prices will be given once the style, size and any specific requirements are finalised.
For an order of four of the same style, height and colour allow 10% discount.
Delivery is free within Northland and the greater Auckland region for one or two in the same style and colour. An additional freight cost is payable for larger numbers and deliveries to the rest of New Zealand.
